Signal jammer detection

Cars stolen without breaking a single window.

In your parking facility, with a jammer that leaves your cameras, alarms and trackers deaf. None of them reports that it stopped hearing. The first effect of an attack is silence.

Are you under attack right now?

We install a unit in a single day and give you the answer. At no cost.

We reply within one business day. We use your data only to contact you: how we handle it.

The attack

Jamming does not break your systems. It leaves them deaf.

A jammer floods the same frequencies your equipment uses. It is like trying to talk next to a speaker at full volume: nothing is broken, but nobody can hear anybody.

YOUR EQUIPMENT IS TALKING THE JAMMER SHOUTS NOBODY HEARS ANYBODY

The car still works

Locked, alarm set, not a scratch on it. It is simply no longer where it was parked.

The camera is still on

Recording, indicator lit, seemingly normal. Transmitting to no one.

The alarm is still installed

Armed and operational. It simply cannot reach anyone.

Nothing is broken and nothing raises a flag. As far as monitoring is concerned, that vehicle simply stopped existing.

Why your equipment does not cover you

A single jammer shuts down your entire perimeter, all at once.

Different brands and technologies share the same underlying weakness: they all depend on radio frequency, and none of them warns you when its own band is blocked.

More wireless technology does not add up to more protection.

~1,000 ft

is the radius an attack can reach, depending on the unit’s power. And a low-power one still works: it just has to be closer.

What CarDefense does

From “something is happening” to “it is exactly here.”

The benefit is not technical, it is operational: instead of sending five officers to sweep an entire garage, you send the right officer to the right place.

The configuration you choose is what decides how specific the alert is. With Sector, the alert names the level — “Level -2,” as in the example below. With Hyperlocation, it also gives the spot within that level.

One

ONE SENSOR

There is an attack, and which zone. The officer sweeps the zone.

Sector

MULTIPLE SENSORS

Which floor or sub-zone. The officer goes to the right level.

HIGHEST PRECISION

Hyperlocation

MULTIPLE SENSORS

26 × 26 feet, even in the worst case. The officer arrives almost on top of it.

Handheld

HANDHELD DETECTOR

Under 16 feet. Closes the last stretch and identifies it.

~1 minute

is what it takes to reach the exact location of the attack, regardless of how large the facility is.

We calibrate each sensor’s sensitivity during installation. If your operation changes, we tune it again.

How your team finds out

The alert lands on the screen your people are already watching.

There is no new system to learn and no extra console to watch. Detection arrives through the same channel your operation already uses for everything else, carrying the one fact that decides the response: which level of the facility it is happening on.

High level. 3 sensors confirming.

In a multi-level garage the signal passes through slabs and bounces off concrete, so “there is an attack” is the easy part and “it is on level -2” is the hard one. Triangulation between sensors is what solves it, and it is the difference between sending your people to one floor or to three.

Fixed sensors in the facility

They cover the garage permanently. Installed once, with nothing to operate: no new screens, no different patrol routes, no shift dedicated to watching them.

Handheld detectors

In use today: officers carry them on patrol. Detection moves with your people, and on the ground it narrows the spot far more than a floor plan can.

The alert, with the level marked

On the CCTV room screen and on the shift supervisor’s Android app. With that, the response stops being a blind sweep and becomes a specific instruction.

On patrol

The officer stops searching and goes straight to the spot.

With a handheld detector, whoever is walking the facility knows whether the signal is getting closer or farther. That is the difference between sweeping three floors and reaching the right car while the attack is still under way.

What changes for your team

Your team already knows what to do about a thief. What it lacks is a way to see him.

CarDefense is not one more tool in your security stack: it is the missing one. Against someone who shows up with a jammer, none of the tools the facility already bought will trigger.

Deter

With the team on alert and signage posted in the garage.

Most customers achieve this.

Identify

Specific suspects, at a specific spot in the facility.

Most customers achieve this.

Apprehend

Entire crews, with police on the scene.

Several customers have achieved this.

2 to 3 crews

arrested alongside national police in four months, at a single facility in Chile.

The people who identify and apprehend are the facility’s own staff, not Tank. The service delivers the actionable signal; the action is carried out by the people and the protocol your team already has.

Legal framing

A growing number of countries treat jammers as a crime in themselves.

Selling, carrying or operating one is prohibited in many jurisdictions, and enforcement has been tightening. Check what applies where your facility is.

What we get asked

The questions that come up before signing.

“We haven’t had any alarms, so we’re fine.”

The absence of an alert is the first symptom of the attack, not proof that there isn’t one.

“We already have cameras and alarms.”

They all depend on radio frequency, and none of them detects when its own band is blocked. A single jammer neutralizes all of them at once.

“My garage has several levels.”

That is the Sector configuration, which subdivides the facility by level and sends the officer to the right floor.

“A car was stolen from us — how do I know a jammer was involved?”

Every attack is logged with date, time and location. Cross-referencing place and moment turns the question from a suspicion into a fact.
